Foxy Chopper wins Munster Salon of the year Award, Salon Design Award & National Salon of the Year Award at 2008 Schwarzkopff Business Awards
Waterford salon, Foxy Chopper, has just scooped the top three awards, including “National Salon of the Year” at the recent Schwarzkopf Professional Irish Hairdressing Business Awards.
The awards were announced at a glittering ceremony in the Shelbourne Hotel where they also won two other awards – Munster Salon of the Year and Best National Salon Design. It follows on from last year’s success where they were hailed as Best Salon Newcomer, not bad for a salon that only started in 2005.

“We’re absolutely thrilled with the award” said Michael Downes, owner of Foxy Chopper. “Of course, it wouldn’t have been possible without our staff and customers so a big word of thanks to both.
This award has never been given to a salon outside of Dublin so we’re over the moon. It’s a real honour to be acknowledged by the industry and a vote of confidence in what we’ve been doing.”
